Hi my Gala lovers,

I missed you all so much! As you know, I took a small hiatus from Gala de Govind this summer because there were too many things happening all at once, both good and bad. Thus, I felt the need to take a step back and focus on myself. Also, for those that have been following me for awhile know blogging is not my full time job, instead it’s my passion, so I always want to show my high-spirit and compassion towards my blog and audience.

Anyways, it’s officially fall season! Woohoo! I am so excited because it’s my favorite time of the year! It’s time to be basic! Yeah, I said it–“B-A-S-I-C”. There is nothing wrong with it, haha. So let’s talk about how to transition in between seasons. One of the biggest trends this year has been Denim. It’s everywhere. You can wear it year around or choose to wear it in between seasons. The lightweight material and loose-fit is great for a causal and comfy look. For today’s look, I wore a denim dress with my Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots for a mix of summer and fall vibe. The lace details on the top contrasts my long black boots creating a girly yet edgy and bold look. I also added a colorful beaded “LOVE” clutch for a vibrant touch which blends well with the neutral denim hue. This denim look has been my “go-to-look” throughout September as it incorporates a summery and fall look. Also, all the pieces in my outfit are classics – the denim and over the knee boots, which means they are an investment and will never go out of style.
