Year Long Plaids

Hi loves,

I hope you all have been doing well. It’s been quite some time since I last chatted with you all on Gala de Govind. I would like to apologize, but my dad laughs at me whenever I do so I will say I've been waiting to share some great content with you all haha.

As the season changes from summer to fall, I like to wear a few pieces from each of my seasonal wardrobes – that’s what transitions are all about. The reddish-orange top with blue hues has all sorts of summery-feelings but the plaid patterned gives off autumn-vibes. This blouse from Zara is such a versatile piece. You could style it different ways to wear it year round. I wore my distressed Levi’s jeans because it was chilly in Canada and my young lookin’ uncles were taking my brother and I to a rooftop brunch at Lavelle’s so I wanted to make sure I dressed comfortable. During Spring, however, I would opt for white jeans and during Summer I would opt for shorts or denim skirt.

PS: Two Gala tips I want you to remember when changing your seasonal wardrobes or buy new clothes for the season:

1. Mix and match different clothing articles from each season, and

2. Challenge yourself to create different outfits for each season
