Quarantine Lifestyle

Hey there Galas!

Who would have imagined 2020 would bring upon us coronavirus and a quarantine lifestyle! Whether you’re working from home, at the grocery stores stocking up on essentials, or searching the web for different ways to pass the time during this impromptu national emergency, I wanted to touch base with all of you.

As most of you can relate, it’s been extremely difficult being cooped up within my four walls these past couple of days. I miss my normal routine - dressing up for work and hanging out with my friends and family. However, I’m trying to take advantage of this time to slow down and enjoy the little things in life such as blogging, cooking, self-care, and spending an abundance of time with my hubby.

One of the few things I miss because of my work-from-home lifestyle is the ability to dress up for work. I realize when I dress well, I feel well; it ultimately sets the mood for the rest of the day. It makes me feel so much more energized and productive. Looking back, some of my favorite office looks consisted of simplicity, timelessness, and professionalism – one of which being this white blouse paired with navy blue pants. It’s ideal during my 9 to 5 hours and can be transformed into an “post-work” outfit by layering on a brown leather jacket. It’s the perfect way to create a versatile “day to night” look with the same outfit.

As I’m working from home until told otherwise, I am challenging myself to create causal “stay-at-home” outfits in hopes of making me feel happier. So, I want to extend the same and challenge you all as well! Let’s create cute “WFH” outfits that makes us all feel better about ourselves because who knows how long we’ll be in this situation for. Hopefully not for long!
