Travel Guide: Best Restaurants in Cabo

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back to the second part of my travel guide to Cabo! If you missed the first one, please click here for all “Things to do in Cabo” because this guide revolves all around food! So if you are a foodie then this one is for you!

One of our favorite parts about traveling is eating all the delicious food catered to the city/country we are visiting! As such, here are a few of our recommendations for must try restaurants that Rohit and I dined at during our stay in Cabo.

1. La Lupine – This is a local cuisine in downtown Cabo dedicated to tacos! They have all sorts of selection from chicken, pork, beef, seafood and veggie. All the tacos have a different flavor. A few of our favorite were Chicken Pipian, Chipotle Shrimp and Taco Guero. This is one of the best places for an authentic taco experience!

2. Sunset Mona Lisa Restaurant – This restaurant has a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset located near the Arches. It’s definitely a romantic spot for two with a set pre-fix menu. We had tuna tartar, lobster, steak and chocolate mousse. Since we were celebrating Rohit’s birthday, the staff also provided complimentary champagne and chocolates! It was definitely a very sweet touch and memorable experience.

3. Flora Farms – This organic farm over 25 acres is located 45 minutes away from downtown Cabo in the Sierra de la Laguna Mountain filled with a variety of experiences, from farm tours, cooking classes, spas, painting workshops and various other activities but most importantly, they are known for their restaurant. We were fortunate to snag a reservation on New Year’s Eve. The experience was a little overwhelming given the holiday celebrations but the food was absolutely delicious! We had a variety of different courses with a ton of different options. The food and the drinks were definitely worth the long hike. Also, since it was the last day of the year, we were blessed to see some beautiful fireworks!

4. El Farallon – This upscale restaurant is located in the cliffs of Waldorf Astoria near Pedregal. Our experience from our arrival to the hotel to the restaurant was purely magical! We loved going through the tunnel, seeing the cliffs, beaches and waves. This restaurant has a dreamy vibe overlooking the sunset, beach and ocean! We enjoyed our last few margaritas and had a wonderful seafood dinner. The food was super scrumptious and absolutely delicious! This restaurant is extremely hard to get a reservation for so please plan ahead or call your credit card company to pull some strings.

Hope you all enjoyed my restaurants in Cabo post! Please leave any other recommendations you have in the comment section below. We would love to try new restaurants if we ever go back, which we really want to!
