Ring in 2018 with Style

Hi Galas!

Wow, I cannot believe today is the last day of the year! It flew by within the blink of an eye! I must say, this year was definitely a roller coaster ride filled with many beautiful and upsetting moments. Two of my favorite moments included receiving my CPA license and seeing six of my beautiful friends get married (shoutouts to Hemini & Neal, Rima & Sid, and Neelam & Karan). However, many of my lows from the year involved over stressing. One of the biggest lessons I learned this year is to not stress about everything and minimize the damage it does to my health - I learned to pick and choose my battles to not get overburdened and keep my sanity. Nonetheless, I am very thankful for both the ups and the downs in 2017, my family, friends (special shoutout to RM), and of course all my Gala fans! Thank you all for supporting my dreams and motivating me on the daily. I'm truly grateful for you guys!

Anyways, it’s time to ring in the new year with style, so let's slip into 2018 with velvet glam! This plush, frame-fitted, low v-neck cut dress is really simple and charming. The forest green color presents a rich and posh appeal. For a more dazzling effect, I accessorized with one of my favorite jewelry brands, Bauble Bar. I wore white tassel earrings for a pop of color and a gold, tiered, “Y-necklace” to accentuate my deep neckline. I completed this look with studded Valentino heels. It was the perfect touch of glamour.

Please note, I originally wore this for my birthday but it’s a perfect dress for any celebration. It's the perfect combination of sexy and elegant.

I cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store for all of us! I have a feeling it’s going to be a really good year! I hope you all have a safe, prosperous and healthy New Year!
